Welcome UK PATRIOT Act

I knew the US had descended into fascism even before the fascist, misnamed USA PATRIOT Act was passed. I knew the UK was headed down the same route. I hadn't realized just how bad it had become in the UK. Then I read this by the great George Monbiot in the Grauniad.
